Purpose

This seminar will provide current information on occupational medicine and networking opportunities needed to keep current in occupational medicine

Intended Audience

This seminar is intended for occupational medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and occupational health nurses.

Continuing Education Credits

ABPM Credit
This seminar has been approved for Lifelong Learning Self- Assessment/Maintenance of Certification (LLSA/MOC) credits by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM), based on actual attendance. The maximum number of credits is 6.0 LLSA/MOC credits for March 17 and 3.25 LLSA/MOC credits for March 18. You must complete and submit a post-test (provided at the seminar) to receive credit.

Physician Credit
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College Medicine and The University of Iowa College of Public Health. The Carver College of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Designates this live activity for a maximum of 9.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nursing CEUs
The University of Iowa College of Nursing is an Iowa Board of Nursing Approved Provider Number 1. The 93rd Annual Spring Seminar is approved for 7.2 contact hours for March 17, 2017 and 3.9 contact hours for March 18, 2017. Attendance at both March 17-18 awards 11.1 contact hours. The Heartland Center requires full-time attendance for CEU award.
